Behind the Design: The “Caucasian Female Pizza People” Shirt

Let’s get one thing straight: I love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I love pizza. I love chaos. What I don’t love is getting sued by massive media companies with very well-paid lawyers. So when I wanted to make something that celebrated the pizza-fuelled, crime-fighting energy of my childhood without actually invoking mutant reptiles or copyright infringement, this design was born.

This shirt was inspired by pure nostalgic joy — the kind that comes from watching wise-cracking animated vigilantes devour slices of pepperoni while living in a sewer and somehow thriving. But to be safe (and clever), I pivoted. What if, instead of turtle ninjas, we had… Caucasian Female Pizza People?

Why This Shirt Exists

Honestly? Because I couldn’t stop laughing at the idea. The phrase alone felt so wildly unnecessary, so strangely specific, that it had to be immortalized in fabric. It’s absurd. It’s legal.
